In my very first post I did a casual wear review on the Nike Hypermax NFW Tennis ball edition. These kicks were extremely limited and sold out at most spots instantly. Some stores even held special events and opened at midnight. With that being said I would assume many people missed out on these if you did then here is your chance at redemption. Here we have another installment of around town, this one features my three sons wearing a nice assortment of Nikes. THIS IS A GOOD IDEA BUT IN MY OPINION EXECUTION FAILED. I understand the antimicrobial thing and all but what good does it do if the front of the phone is unprotected. I mean I would much rather protect my face than my hands from germs, why not make an integrated antimicrobial screen shield like OTTERBOX.

D-TOWN GETS SOME HOH LOVE

As with every House of Hoops opening, there will be exclusive releases that you will not find at any other store.
With that said, check out this Nike Hyperize dubbed the “Dallas 972″. Obviously, ‘972′ is one of the area codes in Dallas. It is represented on this shoe by way of the tongue. It features a multi-colored upper that incorporates black, white, grey and blue in representation of the Dallas Cowboys/Dallas Mavericks.

MY 2 CENTS

Just throwing some iPhone info at you .There is an app for the iPhone called COLORSPLASH that I highly recommend. It's a premium app and costs $1.99 but it is well worth it. This app gives you the ability to isolate color from a photo to make some amazing looking pictures. Also I have to recommend PHOTOSHOP MOBILE, this is a free application with tons of features for editing your pictures. So check these out and have fun taking pictures and adding your own cool effects to them this holiday season.

REMEMBER THESE?

The combination of a slow day in the world of sneakers and another stroll down memory lane led to another Remember These entry. I dug deep into the vault and brought back some kicks from the turn of the millennium. Up top a pair of deadstock White and Carolina Blue Air Jordan VI low, the sole is still incredibly icy for these to be almost a decade old. The second is one of my personal favorites the Nike Air Flightposite III. Worn by the Knicks Allen Houston nearly 10 years ago these were truly ahead of their time. The foamposite material and the Zoom Air unit make this an on court winner. While the almost Terrestrial look of the shoe makes it an offcourt winner in my opinion. As always let me know what you think.

MORE JORDAN CP3.III COLORWAYS

Earlier this week I showed you pictures of the CP3.III in the WHITE/RED colorway and now three more colorways have surfaced. An all BLACK, an ORION BLUE & a MARDI GRAS makeup are set to release sometime in 2010. I don't know about you all but these are starting to grow on me. If the price is right I'll be getting a pair for sure. Give me your take on the third installment in the CP3 series.

LeBron said What?

Fresh off their win over the Miami Heat Lebron James stated in an interview that he would wear the number 6 next season. He went on to say that it was a matter of respect and that no player should wear 23 again. I disagree with this thinking because every generation deserves a great 23. If anything only NBA "superstars" should be allowed to wear it but no one at all, that's taking it too far. Look if there are no more great 23's then the number looses it's magic and in a couple of years ends up just like any other number. I know many will say it shouldn't matter but it does. I can only hope Lebron will think this over and continue to wear 23 and let the magic continue for another generation of ballers.

JORDAN CP3.III WHITE/RED/BLACK

Jordan CP3.III. Here we feature a new version that is slated to release on January 2, 2010.
The shoes feature a predominantly white leather upper along with laser-etching along the mid panels, as well hints of patent leather on the lower part of the mudguard. The upper sits atop a white and black speckled midsole. The CP3 logo is shown on the tongue, while a black Jumpman logo sits on the heel. Be on the look out for them as their release date approaches.

This is the redesigned Capsule Rebel M it boast the same features as the first rebel but with a more "MENACING" look. The most important change is the bottom of the case where the docking port and speakers are located. This area now has three holes one for each speaker and one for the dock. This is an improvement over the first case because of the added support. This should help to prevent that sagging problem I experienced with the first Rebel that had one big cut-out for the speakers and docking area. *Nike Air Skyposite One (Blue and Black shoes) will have a price tag of $160. These have already released so check eastbay.com or your local sneaker shops for these.

*Nike Air Penny 1/2 Cent Silver/Black is available now and will set you back $190 retail. The Spark Green/Black pair is said to be a holiday release and will also sell for $190.

JORDAN 2010 FINAL PRODUCT

Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith collaborated with Michael Jordan on the Air Jordan 2010, taking the literal interpretation of Jordan’s ability to see through his opponents by creating the brand’s first see-through performance basketball shoe featuring a unique transparent thermoplastic urethane (TPU) window.
